So, you’re a Premier League footballer, and you’ve got a crucial survival match at home, against one of the top four clubs and you need to get to the game.
You’re in the starting line up, and you’ll be defending against a team who’s star striker cost £38 million and has so far scored 17 goals this season.
So how do you get to the match?
Well, it looks like Boro defender Fabio Da Silva, on his way to the Riverside Stadium for today’s match against Manchester City got the BUS!
And no, that’s not the plush team bus.
This morning “the Boro Banter Page” posted a photo showing Boro right back Fabio, dressed in his team suit, waiting at a Bus stop.
The photo, which was taken on Yarm Road shows Fabio waiting at the at the bus stop opposite Butts Lane. The area is very popular with Premier League footballers with many Boro players including Adam Forshaw, Viktor Fischer, Ben Gibson and Marten De Roon.
While we don’t know how far Fabio went on the bus, it might not have been the only form of public transport he could have hopped onto the train to Middlesbrough to avoid having to change buses in Stockton.
But we needn’t worry as Fabio managed to get to the Riverside in time for the game.
