So we did a review in Dormanstown not so long ago and we noticed what looked like a brand new place just over the square. We asked you where you wanted us to review next and we had a load for East Cleveland and load for Boro, so we thought we’d do neither and come back to Dormo as this place looked really interesting.

So we went to Mr. Chip in Ennis Square Dormanstown, Redcar. This half parmo came served with chips and salad and these were chippy chips, I mean we don’t score the chips but if they’re different to the usual we will point it out, and in our opinion chippy chips are always a good choice!
Now this wasn’t the biggest half parmo we’ve been served by a long shot but you know what they say, it’s not the size of the boat and all that jazz haha! Anyway… the parmo was very fresh and tasty, the chicken was cooked perfectly leaving it very juicy and full of flavour. This was topped with a beautifully creamy bechemal sauce and finally covered with a delightful amount of cheese grilled to perfection. Our bites taken, score marked and obviously we destroyed the rest within minutes.
Overall we were really surprised by how very tasty this parmo was. Only with this place being new we imagined it might have to work out a few kinks, but we’re more than happy to tell you our parmo had no kinks! Delicious.
