Yarm Town Council By-election – In Her own words – Georgina Hollifield

The following quote is the one-hundred-word biography (or the first one hundred words) submitted to us by Georgina Hollifield for the Yarm Town Council by-election on Thursday 14th August 2025.

I’ve lived in Yarm for 4 years with my 5-year-old. I regularly visit Willey Flats park with my son and see ways the area could be improved, such as installing gates on the playground so children can’t escape, and dogs can’t enter. Willey Flats playground also lacks inclusive play equipment for disabled children and would like to see efforts made to rectify this so all children can use the playground. As a local parent with a child at a local school I’m the best candidate to engage with local families and regularly monitor the function of playgrounds in the area.

The other candidates standing are:-
