Those of us who grew up in Middlesbrough will see how much our town has changed over the years. Many of the places we once knew have gone and are not totally different. These places, however, are very much part of our history. Who remembers the terraces of Cannon Street, Ayresome Park where the Boro used to play, or the Royal Exchange?
Sue Martin, the founder of the popular Memories of Middlesbrough group has curated an exhibition at Middlesbrough’s Dorman Memorial Museum on Linthorpe Road. This is an exhibition of photographs, created with contributions from members of the Memories of Middlesbrough Facebook group.
Discover Memories of Middlesbrough is part of the town’s Discover Middlesbrough events which are being held throughout October.
The exhibition opened on the 15th October and was due to run until the 28th October 2016 – this has now been extended until Easter!
