Police are appealing for information after a 10-year-old boy was assaulted in Seaton Carew Park.
The incident occurred on Saturday 15th January at around 1:30 pm when the victim and his friend were approached by six male youths, who removed the boy’s hat and threw it in the beck. They then proceeded to punch and kick him.
As a result of the incident, the boy suffered minor injuries but did not seek medical treatment.
The suspects are believed to be aged between 11 and 13 years old and one of them is described as wearing a half black and half grey hooded top and jeans and the others were wearing tracksuits.
