The following quote is the one hundred word biography (or the first one hundred words) submitted to us by Stephen Lynas for the Yarm Town Council by-election.
I have lived on Leven Park Estate, Yarm for 35 years, the last 3 years being very actively involved in our local community. During the pandemic I delivered hampers for Little Sprouts charity and from there became involved in Yarm Wellness, a new charity in Yarm, where I am a Trustee and Vice Chair. Once a fortnight, I lead a Veterans breakfast at the Wellness Centre.
I enjoy walking daily around our beautiful town with my wife, Barbara and dog Rudy.
I want to bring my determination and enthusiasm to Yarm Town Council to benefit the town and our residents
The other candidates standing are Ian Carter and Bob Wegg.
